Thank your for the support from ITU and SIT in the organization of this event. The initiative ams to encourage girls + young women to consider careers in information + communication technologies (ICT) and was celebrated on April 24th. this year.
Our local participants! (We had over 50 schools all over Guatemala watching our streaming)
We had a contest during the event on which idea was best liked in the room and via Twitter about what can be done to increase the participation of girls in studying careers related to ICTs. Our winners!

Our prize courtesy of Mbau3D (www.mbau3d.com) who also did demostrations as to how the trophy was printed with a 3D printer.
We had special guests that were visually or hearing challenged so we had a sign language traslator during the event
